Web Interface Development in Support of NASA Systems Engineering

Johnson Space Center (JSC) - Internship
Update current web-based User Interface (UI) application to improve usability and access to information needed to manage the systems engineering life cycle phases as applied to NASA Programs. Focus will be on the functional and visual design improvements of the Web UI. Other software tasks may be assigned as applicable in support of the Exploration, Development, Integration Office.

Expected outcome: Demo user-interface application and conduct an exit presentation describing completed work.
Student's special skills: Required Skills: -Working Knowledge of CSS (Intermediate Level), Javascript (Intermediate Level), HTML (Intermediate Level) -Experience developing web-based user interfaces, especially the front-end development -Self-starter with the ability to work as a team and independently -Good communication skills - both written and verbal Desired Skills: -Previous Experience or Working Knowledge of: AngularJS, JQuery, DataTables (JS), Material Design -Systems Engineering knowledge with understanding of the Life-cycle phases
